Here is a photo I took because the stone artwork above this doorway really impressed me. This was at the Mayan ruins of Tulum, as are many of the pictures in this Vacation Exhibit. The roof you see here is quite common to see in Mexico, and is often referred to as palapa. It is made of palm leaves, and provides good insulation against storms and rain.
